1911 Biscuits & Burgers: A Taste of Community and Gratitude

911 Biscuits & Burgers isn't just serving up delicious Southern comfort food; they're also serving up a generous helping of community spirit.

This local gem, owned and operated by childhood friends Terry Kirby and Brian Kennington , has quickly become a favorite for its handcrafted biscuits, juicy burgers, and unwavering commitment to giving back.

"Drove by and elected to try out this restaurant. WoW. One to visit again…choose the fried catfish sandwich. Came on a toaster bun, letuce and tomato. The sandwich came with a secret sauce and really made it super. Fish was hot, crispy and delicious"

As featured on Fox 5 Atlanta's "Burgers With Buck," 1911 Biscuits & Burgers is renowned for its signature "Smoking Gun BBQ Burger," a messy but irresistible creation that locals and visitors alike rave about. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is its dedication to the community.

Beyond their mouthwatering menu, which includes breakfast favorites like their legendary biscuits and hearty lunch options, 1911 Biscuits & Burgers actively supports local veterans and first responders.

They generously donate a portion of their profits to the American Legion and the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, demonstrating their deep appreciation for those who serve.

“We have set out to provide handcrafted breakfast and lunch in a fast, convenient and invitingly rustic environment”

Terry Kirby, Co-Owner of 1911

Their community involvement extends beyond monetary donations. They recently partnered with the Campbell High School Wrestling Booster Club, providing their famous biscuits to attendees.

Whether you're craving a taste of Southern comfort or looking to support a business that truly cares, 1911 Biscuits & Burgers is a must-visit.

“Fortunately we were able to make it right before closing and found out that we were the 100th customer for the GRAND OPENING of our very own L&L Hawaiian Barbecue here in Smyrna, GA. Huge mahalo to the L&L Ohana for taking care of us the way islanders do. Definitely felt at home away from home.”

Quote of the Day

“In all things we should try to make ourselves be as grateful as possible. For gratitude is a good thing for ourselves, in a manner in which justice, commonly held to belong to others, is not. Gratitude pays itself back in large measure.”
